The film Lahore is an upcoming bollywood film which hopes to sketch out the India-Pakistan relations before the partition in 1947 which took place by politics and religion. The film has been produced by Sai Om Films Pvt Ltd while Sunjay Puransingh Chauhan directed the film. The background of the film is a competitive sport – kick-boxing – in the international arena. The starring of the film included Nafisa Ali, Farouque Shaikh, Ashish Vidyarthi, Nirmal Pandey, Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Saurabh Shukla, Sushant Singh, Kelly Dorji, Shraddha Das, Shraddha Nigam and Mukesh Rishi. The film shows that the sports of these two countries are one of the greatest bonds which connect the torn apart countries together. The director of the film Sanjay Puransingh said that “If there’s anything that can act as one of the greatest bond between two countries torn apart by politics and religion, it’s sports. That’s what ‘Lahore‘ is all about,”

Oppose to other films the director of the film choose kickboxing considering more brutal sport setting for the story of the film. He said that “In a country like India, it’s very difficult to showcase a sport other than cricket. I settled for kickboxing because I wanted a brutal sport setting, and being a kickboxer myself, it was easier for me to visualize it,”

The film starts from the scene where the selection of the National Indian kickboxing team is in process for the kick-boxing tournament with Pakistan. The selection board chooses Dheerandra Singh from India and on the other hand Noor Mohammad is selected for the Pakistani National team. They both meet at the event for a result that makes the sports organization numb and entire world a mute outsider. The final follow-up match schedules to play in Lahore which proves to be an impressive opposition with no give in and a battle for honour.

The film has been shot in the locations of Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Lonavala, Malaysia and at Lahore, it has already crossed the festival circuit path and won an international award — the jury award for the Best Feature Film at the 42nd World Fest International Film Festival, Houston, Texas, where the world premiere of the film was held April 20 last year.
