Although the title of the film might be crisp as nachos but the love story played by Neil and DeepikaLafangey Parindey” couldn’t proved crunchy enough to attract the audience. The film could not do great business at box office as it manages only 50 percent occupancy over the weekend on an average. The content of the film was appreciated but the star cast caused for low business.

The movie turned out business was Rs.35 million while the expected business was Rs. 100 – Rs. 110 million. On the other hand, Aamir Khan Productions “Peepli Live” made the business of Rs. 210 million and the budget of the film was 100 million.

As far as the acting concerned, Deepika Padukone has won the appreciation for her character while Neil Nitin Mukesh failed to prove his acting skills here also, recently he had also failed to win appreciations for his film Jail.
